There is confusion over the report that rugged Arden Diale is scheduled to fight WBA flyweight champion Hernan “Tyson” Marquez on July 14 place at the Cowboys Stadium in Dallas, Texas on the undercard of WBO junior welterweight champion Juan Manuel Marquez’ title defense against a still unnamed opponent. Boxingscene.com said Zanfer Promotions headed by Fernando Beltran who works closely with Top Rank’s Bob Arum announced the “Tyson” Marquez-Diale title fight.
However, in a strange twist the Filipino boxer’s manager Dante Almario told the Manila Standard “I don’t know who made this deal” and international matchmaker/promoter Sampson Lewkowicz who signed up Diale two years ago apparently knows nothing about the title fight.
